Robust, strong, malty beer brewed for export to Russia. Burnt "currant" flavor. Alcoholic and well aged.
Courage Imperial Stout, Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout.
Lots of pale malt and roasted malt. English hops. Slightly alkaline water.
Full bodied with burnt, smoky, malty, fruity, complex flavors. Some coffee or roast cocoa evident. Moderate to high hop flavor and aroma. Black color. High ester and fruitiness.
